Lost Wax Process
Precision Investment & Lost Wax Casting | Near-Net Shape Perfection for Complex Components
Specializing in Precision Parts from 1g to 150kg with Superior Surface Finishes and Total Structural Integrity.
Pakistan’s Premier Export-Oriented Investment Foundry | ISO & ASTM Compliant
Investment casting is the ideal solution for mission-critical parts where “close enough” isn’t an option. Ahmed Corporation utilizes advanced ceramic shell technology to produce components that meet the exact look, feel, and performance of fully machined parts—at a fraction of the cost.
What is Lost Wax Casting and Investment Casting?
Often referred to as Lost Wax Casting, this process involves creating a precise wax pattern which is ‘invested’ into a ceramic shell. Once the wax is melted away (the ‘lost’ wax), the hollow mold is filled with molten metal to create high-precision parts.
The Benefits of Our Process:
Superior Surface Finish: Achieving 125 RMS (3.2 microns) or better as-cast, often eliminating the need for secondary polishing or grinding.
Consolidated Assemblies: We can cast multiple intricate parts into a single complex component, significantly reducing your assembly costs and weight.
Zero-Draft Capability: Unlike sand casting, our process allows for internal passages, deep undercuts, and zero-draft walls that are otherwise impossible to manufacture.
Advanced Lost Wax & Precision Investment Casting Services
Whether you are searching for Lost Wax Casting services or Precision Investment Casting, Ahmed Corporation provides the same high-standard results. We specialize in the lost wax method for aerospace, medical, and automotive components, ensuring zero-porosity and elite surface finishes.
- Hybrid 3D Wax Modeling: We utilize 3D-printed wax patterns for rapid prototyping, allowing you to move from blueprint to physical part in days.
- Vacuum-Assisted Pouring: Our vacuum processes ensure zero porosity in high-performance alloys, critical for aerospace and medical applications.
- Robotic Shelling: Automated slurry coating ensures consistent ceramic thickness, leading to repeatable dimensional accuracy across every batch.
